We are also very pleased to be supporting the St Luke’s Hospice Light up a Life Carol Services on Tuesday 17th December to be held at St Andrews Minster Church at 5:30pm & 7:30pm.
The Tamar Concert Choir is always looking to attract new members, especially Tenor’s and Basses. If you would like to give this choir a go why not fill in the form on this website or come along to a practice on a Thursday evening. We meet at Derriford URC Church on Powisland Drive from 7:30pm – 9:30pm with a short refreshment break in the middle. We look forward to meeting you then.
Rehearsals resume this evening after our fantastic Summer Concert Season of 2024. Lots of money raised for wonderful charities. Keep an eye out for the Christmas Concert dates. Thank you all for supporting the Tamar Concert Choir.
The Tamar Concert Choir are pleased to be performing on:
Saturday 1st June at 7:30pm a joint concert with Rame Male Voice Choir at St Andrews Minster Church in Plymouth. All proceeds to the refurbishment of the Church Organ.
Thursday 20th June at 7:30pm. A charity concert raising money for P.U.M.A (Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid). A free concert with retiring donations. This concert takes place at Derriford United Reformed Church, Powisland Drive.
Saturday 27th July at 7:30pm. A charity concert at Pilgrim United Reformed Church, St Levans Road. A free concert with retiring donations.
After a very successful Christmas Concert season the Choir meets back on Thursday 4th January 2024 to make a start on our Summer Programme. Why not come along and join us?

The Tamar Concert Choir want to thank everyone who came and supported us over the Summer Season. It was great to sing to such big audiences and be appreciated. We managed to raise money for Ukraine, St Mary’s Church in Tamerton Foliot & The Stroke Association. Rehearsals will resume on Thursday 17th August for two weeks and then again on Thursday 7th September at Derriford United Reformed Church.
We shall be performing at Derriford United Reformed Church on Thursday 1st June 2023 at 7:30pm. This concert is in aid of Ukraine. Please come along and support us and Ukraine.
